Mixtape #7 – Teenage Bedroom Love Stories

Installment number seven in our little mixtape series has been curated by the wonderful Liz Pelly. 19 songs of hazy pop, odes to love and “the impermanence of it all” (Nana Grizol, track 6, gorgeous). Thrown in are some old classics by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Fleetwood Mac that fit just right, joining the dots between the present and its influences. Damn fine summer music and a great way to spend an hour of a friday afternoon.

Liz Pelly is a Boston native, currently here in Dublin studying Irish culture and interning at State.ie for the summer. She and her sister write the awesome Pellytwins blog, a great collection of musings, ramblings and generally excellent writing on mainly musical things. Liz is also the music director at WTBU where she co-produces Left of the Dial.
