Quarter Inch Mixtape #8 – Those Geese’s Day Off

They’re coming thick, fast and, in this case, all the way from Brooklyn, NYC. Karl McDonald is the man responsible for this week’s mixtape and he describes it as “A mixtape representing the experiences and thought processes of a day off when all your days are always already days off”. It’s basically got a bunch of real good songs you probably wouldn’t listen to while doing anything that important.

Karl has a blog called Those Geese Were Stupefied where he skillfully avoids journalistic cliché and manages to dance really well about architecture. He also writes for Totally Dublin and sometimes presents the Analogue Hour on 2xm.

Featuring some wisdom from Alvi Singer, Louis Theroux and Pealy Maghti, in addition to:

J Dilla feat. Common – E = MC2 (The Shining, 2006)
