New Release: Quompilation #1

Quick question: What do the following acts have in common?

Stuck? Well, let me tell you. They’re all going to be on Quompilation #1! Quompilation #1 will be a cassette/download release featuring 14 of the finest musical acts in the country, each doing covers of one of their favourite songs of 2010. Excited? Thought you might be.

All the acts have picked a song from 2010 and have re-imagined them in their own unique styles, giving us what is a truly amazing look at the talent that resides here on our wind-beaten isle.

We’re going to have a launch party, which will probably be on the 27th of January, probably in the Lower Deck in Portobello, the exact details are soon to follow. It’ll be around a tenner in, have quite a few bands from that list up there, and you’ll get a copy of the cassette when you walk in the door. Deal?

In the meantime, keep an ear out for tracks any that might surface and we’ll hook you up with a stream of the whole album in due course.

Until then my friends,

Ian
